This course provides a foundation for teaching and facilitating American Heart Association courses. Participants must complete the online AHA Instructor Essentials prior to attending the classroom session. The online portion is a prerequisite for all new instructor candidates and for instructors adding another discipline to their teaching credentials. It can be accessed from the AHA Instructor Network at www.ahainstructornetwork.org. First time users will need to register in order to access the online training.
Students must provide documentation of current provider status and documentation that they have been accepted for alignment with an AHA Training Center in order to attend the classroom session.
REQUIRED MATERIALS TO BRING TO CLASS: You will need to purchase the MOST CURRENT EDITION Instructor Manual and Provider book for each discipline you plan to teach.
