Course Description

This class is the first step toward becoming certified with AAPC (CPC) . After this class it is highly recommended to complete the AAPC Course .

Job Options after Certification: coder in a physician's office, staffing facility or other healthcare arena.

Training includes: ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, Medicare/Medicaid billing and coding procedures.


CO-REQUISITE:  HS Diploma or GED,  Medical Terminology for Coding Specialists AHS527,  OSHA AOT515 ,  HIPAA Privacy Training AHS521,  National  Medicare Training  Prerequisites
