PLEASE NOTE: If you are a looking for a class to satisfy academic pre-requisites in a healthcare-related field (including dental), this is not the correct course!!! You need CPR/BLS Healthcare Provider.

Learn the critical skills you need to be able react quickly to a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency. The actions you take in the first few minutes can keep someone alive until emergency medical services arrive on-scene. In this hands-on class format, participants learn how to recognize, respond to and treat a variety of first aid emergencies such as bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and perform CPR and use an AED in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. Covers adult, child, and infant.

Participants must successfully pass skills checks, especially involving continuous compressions on an adult and infant manikin. Course involves working at floor level with manikins-please dress accordingly.
