This web-blended course format is an ideal option for healthcare providers seeking an alternative to traditional American Heart Association (AHA) Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers classroom training for first-time or renewal certification.

Upon registering for this course, please allow up to 3 business days to receive your access code to the course on the American Heart Association website. The access code will be emailed to you along with instructions on accessing the course. Once you receive your access code from college staff, the self-paced online American Heart Association courseware is accessible anytime (24 hours a day) and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. The course is divided into three parts. Part 1 delivers the cognitive learning through online modules. A Certificate of Completion must be printed by the student after successful completion of the online Part 1 modules. This printed certificate must be presented to the instructor upon arrival at the practice and skills check session. For Parts 2 and 3, students meet with an AHA instructor at time and date listed above to complete the mandatory hands-on skills practice session and skills test.

Please remember that you MUST provide a copy via email or hard copy of your Certificate of Completion for the online portion of the course to your skills check-off session. BLS card will be issued within 3 business days of successful skills check session.

Course fee includes BLS Heartcode online course, E-card, PLUS convenient Keychain Rescue Face Shield with one-way valve for those unexpected CPR emergencies.
