Course Description

The OSHA 10 Hour training course is designed for workers in manufacturing operations, health care industries, transportation and warehousing, and service industries.  This fast-paced training, based on 29 CFR 1910 standards, provides workers with an overview of the basic health and safety hazards in the workplace and includes an explanation of how the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) operates.  Participants who successfully complete the training receive an OSHA 10-hour wallet card that is accepted in all 50 states and US territories. Specific topics include:

·         Introduction to OSHA 

·         Walking and Working Surfaces

·         Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention and Protection

·         Electrical

·         Personal Protective Equipment

·         Hazard Communication

Additional topics may include Material Handling, Machine Guarding, or information on Hazardous Materials that may be encountered in the workplace.  These topics can be tailored for site-specific training.
