Through a combination of training and hands-on experiences, participants will be exposed to the history of Lean, key Lean components, benefits, Lean strategies and effective implementation methods. Attendees will actually work in a simulated manufacturing operation using what they've learned to achieve amazing results in moving a process from typical production to Lean Manufacturing. During the simulation exercises-as a member of the production team you'll see firsthand how the Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts link together to eliminate waste; reduce cycle times, lead-times, and WIP; and improve quality and on-time delivery performance.
Designed for employees at every level of the organization; participants won't just learn the concepts, they will experience them. Even though it is an overview, previous participants have been able to immediately apply the principles that they learned in this course generating tangible financial impacts.
