The Certificate in Employee Relations Law Series is designed to provide a comprehensive, practical, convenient, and cost-effective way to acquire knowledge about complex employment laws that impact virtually every employment-related decision. This intensive series will be conducted by attorneys from Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C.’s Greenville, South Carolina, office, at The Ogletree Building on the third Tuesday of every month from 8:00 a.m. to noon, beginning in March 2025. Instruction will focus on the steps participants can take to meet the requirements of various laws and regulations. Each seminar day will provide four hours of practical, current, and comprehensive information on a full range of employment law issues. Subjects will include dealing with state and federal regulatory agencies and their requirements, compliance reviews, minimizing exposure to litigation, dealing with troublesome employees, developing policies and handbooks, equal employment opportunity compliance, privacy, and litigation strategies. Reference materials will be presented on each day of instruction.

Each session held at The Ogletree Law Firm, 300 N. Main Street (corner of College and N. Main Street, across from the Hyatt Hotel) on the third Tuesday of each month for 11 sessions.
