The OSHA 10 Hour training course for construction industry is intended to provide workers with an overview of the basic health and safety hazards present in the workplace. The OSHA 10 hour construction industry training course also provides students with an overview of how the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) operates.
The OSHA 10 hour training course for construction industry is based on the OSHA 1926 standards. This OSHA 10 training course is designed for workers in construction including carpenters, electricians, labors, masons, plumbers, sheet metal workers, tile workers and welderrs.
The OSHA 10 hour training course in general industry standards was created by OSHA, who has authorized certain OSHA Outreach trainers to conduct this 10-hour training class for a group of workers. The OSHA 10 training courses are presented in a classroom setting (usually spread over two consecutive days), Here are the mandatory topics that will be covered in the OSHA 10-hour construction industry training course.

· OSHA Focus Four Hazards
· HealthHazards in Construciotn
· Stairways and Ladders
· Personal Protective Equipment
· Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators and Conveyors

· Materials Handling, Use and Disposal
· Scaffolds
· Tools - Hand and Power
When a student successfully completes an OSHA 10 hour construction industry training course, they will receive the official OSHA 10 hour wallet card. The cards are accepted in all 50 states and US territories.
