Communication is a difficult subject because a myriad of variables determines how people develop their communication style and methods. What works for one person does not work for another person in many instances. By understanding the basis for communication and accepted etiquette in several common communication methods, professionals can learn how to sharpen their communication skills to be more effective and efficient.

In this class, you will learn how different personality styles affect communication. This class will focus on the application of different communication styles to everyday business scenarios. We will focus on non-industry specific practices that work in any environment. These techniques will lead to improved and successful communication.

This course is part of a series of six competency-based courses entitled the SUPERVISORY CERTIFICATE.
