Entrance Requirements: 17 years of age, closed toe shoes in demonstration and lab environment. Additional requirements may be tied to scholarship funding. Funding may be available. Presents basic jobsite safety information to prepare workers for the construction environment. Key content includes: Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction Math, Introduction to Hand Tools, Introduction to Power Tools, Construction Drawings, Basic Rigging, Basic Communication Skills, and Basic Employability Skills and Materials Handling.
