This course is designed to enable the student to read and interpret shop and structural drawings and prints. Emphasis is placed on structural identification, terminology, symbols, including systems of measurement and industry standards. Learn how to identify, interpret, and draw welding symbols on drawings. Describe detailed drawings and their components, including lines, fills, solid and round pipe, breaks and revolved sections. Object views, dimensioning, notes, and bill of material are also covered. Lecture/classroom only Pencil, paper, and graph paper are required for this class.
