Managing the Difficult Employee/Patient

As a manager, one of your responsibilities is help employees perform at the top of their game. Your energy level and effectiveness are often negatively impacted when you have a problem employee. Defining the problem and the expected performance standard will help resolve the situation in a positive and supportive manner.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
--Be able to describe difficult employees and understand your role in intervention with them.
--Understand how to intervene in the performance of difficult employees.
--Be able to use an Intervention Conference to address difficult behavior.
--Understand when behavior merits consideration of employment termination.
