Get control of your digital SLR camera! In this course, you'll break through the technology barrier and learn how to use your DSLR to take beautiful photos. A practical and creative course in learning the basics of digital SLRs and natural light photography. Students will learn how to use manual settings to better control their results. Also the best use of natural light and basic photoshop and Lightroom techniques to process their photos. Weekly assignments and critiques will help them work on composition, posing subjects and lighting Students will become skilled in the use of their SLR cameras, learn basic photo processing and retouching, create a workflow and filing system for their work, improve their use of light, composition and practical applications such as e-commerce and social media posting. They will also be introduced to consumer photography options such as wedding and family photography..

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Manually adjustable single lens reflex digital camera, paper and pen, lens cleaning kit, and camera manual.
