Companies that ship goods by air must comply with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations. Most air carriers will only accept hazardous materials or dangerous goods shipments from companies that comply with IATA rules requiring training for hazmat employees every two years. Some items may endanger the safety of an aircraft or persons on board, and as a result the air transportation of these dangerous materials can either be forbidden or restricted. Make sure your employees know how to ensure the safe handling of dangerous goods in air shipping to keep your products moving and your employees safe.
NOTE - EVT519 Handling and Shipping of Hazardous Materials, Substances, and Wastes - DOT is Pre-Requisite training for IATA.
