IMDG HazMat Vessel Shipper

The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code is widely accepted as an international guideline to the safe carriage of dangerous goods or hazardous materials by sea. This uniform international code for the transport of dangerous goods by sea includes requirements for packing, container traffic and stowage, and the segregation of incompatible substances. Personnel engaged with the transport of dangerous goods by sea must be trained according to their role and responsibilities. With a focus on safety implications and pollution prevention, the IMDG's key objectives include protecting human life, preventing marine pollution, and facilitating the free movement of dangerous goods in a safe manner. NOTE - EVT519 Handling and Shipping of Hazardous Materials, Substances, and Wastes - DOT is Pre-Requisite training for IMDG.
